Hello!!!!

Hi you all ! Glad to be part of this community. I am from Santiago , Chile and I love Australian parakeets and kakarikis. I have been keeping kakarikis for more than 6 years now and recently , I added fiery rosellas, red rumpeds, a male Pennant rosella and bourkes to my personal pleasure.
Having said that , I hope to learn more about what is to be learnt from fellow bird lovers and most important of all, enjoy being part of this experience. Thanks and wish you all well. :heart_fill_with_lov

Hi Stann! welcome to the forum!! We have a few Kakariki owners myself included. Your male rosella is just gorgeous, a very fine looking bird. I used to have a Blue Crimson who I adored. I've never had Bourkes but Laurie (who'll be along soon I'm sure) can't recommend the breed enough, they are very gentle birds I believe.

I look forward to seeing some more pictures of your birds and sharing some stories :hi:

and welcome ........ im quite a beginner ........... and only have Kakarikis........ i have 5 now and 2 new babies :D that im quite excited about!! i doubt you will learn much from me hehehehehe.......... but I'll try to help keep you entertained blah

id love to see pics of your birds too..... especially the Kakarikies ......

I have kakarikis too! I think nearly all of us on here do! :lol1:

I've also kept bourkes in the past - they're such sweet little birds. I don't know much about red rumps or rosellas though so I'll hopefully be looking forward to learning a bit more about them from you rub hands

Thanks folks!!!! I tried posting some pics here but I couldn´t . I shall try again. Firebird......that is not my actual male crimsom rosella. I have some pics of it but I just can´t get it to pose for me....:( and I shalll try to upload it .

The size of all the pictures is higher than the allowed limit. You cannot send more.

if not Photobucket.com is simple & fast or you have the option of hosting a image..theirs a icon right in the middle of the box you type in, when composing a reply on here...mouse over the icons until you find it...the host site will ask you to join, its safe & easy to do & you can then upload images directly from your comp if you wish...

either way I hope you visit often & tell us all about your birds!! we never get enough of the birds here!! :running:
