That side of the house has been quite a challenge since we moved here.
NO grass seed will grow. Now the entire area has been scraped off about 4 inches of the top earth and we are praying the sod will take. If not I'm getting a HUGE truck load of stone

First of all the garden has been made to go all around the tree and a new tree has been planted.

Ground scraped and raked.

A couple of new shrubs added and sod laid

Note the collar of Jerry our very missed German Shepherd.

I bought a pretty butterfly that flaps it's wings in the wind.

I have some new flowers to put in so I have to rearrange since the garden got bigger and there will be a sitting area added soon with a swing chair.

In the last picture just in front of the stone there is a yellow butterfly.
I'll have to take a close up of it for you tomorrow.
