Saying goodbye

We have never been able to grow grass at this side of the house so we are planning on planting trees, shrubs and maybe a rock garden.. sorry for the mud.

Ohh Carol its just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is so special & I love the Panseys, im so glad you shared this with us..It really would look lovely with a Rock garden surrounding it,solar lights added as well through the pathway! you`ve all outdone yourselves its just beautiful!!

I miss him so much but I'm glad I waited to have this little memorial for him.
Now I don't see the bad day quite so vividly, now I can remember him as the fun, loving little guy that he was.
The words on the stone are my feelings, I saw it on a stone on one of the memorial sites when looking for his stone and said that's it....that's it. That was one of Robby's sayings "that's it".

Carol - what a beautiful memory of Robby you have for always - I love the picture you've had carved into the stone! Such a wonderful dedication to a wonderful bird

Ohhhh crap, now I'm balling my eyes out again! That's absolutely lovely Carol, and such a fitting tribute to little Robby. Although, I bet if he was about to see it he'd be digging all the flowers up!

I just had to do something for him, or maybe it was for me. Whatever the reason I'm glad you all think I did the right thing.

I still hear him in the bird room every day but it's Billy doing his voice. And I still get teary but now I look at it quite differently. Now I feel like I have both Robby and Billy but they are just wrapped up in one bird. Billy is doing so much better and is no longer grieving. I think the company I had here all last week helped him so much.
He totally fell in love with Karen and showered her with so many kisses, he even told her he loved her and he's never said those words before.

Oh carol thats so awesome! I bet Karen was over the moon when he told her he loved her!! I know I would have been! Im just so glad everythings starting to come together again, we knew it would but knowing when or how is the mystery to coping! its friends I think that helps us in so many ways..you was able to have people that cared about you help you through this & share in this special occasion..

Karen was soooooooooooooooooo excited that she came running out of the bird room almost screaming "HE SAID HE LOVED ME!!!" It was pretty cute.
