im gonna try n make some toys .....!!

i spent half the day looking online for stuff that didnt cost much .......... i ordered

a couple of loofas to chop up
some wooden beeds
some wooden blocks
some leather flowers
n a load of those holey balls
n something else i cant remember lol

ive already got some seashells with holes in
some card tubes
loads of sisle string

while i wait for the post man im gonna make.....

some bits of apple tree with holes in
some sort of woven things from bits of grass... (yeah i know that sounds lame lol)
some twig things.... of some description.......

then........... im gonna wave my magic fairy wand ........ n magic it all into a fantastic toy or two......

well my loooooofas just arived .......... flat...... i just re hydrated 1 and found loads of seeds........... some look a bit crushed but im gonna plant a couple n see what happens.....!!

them little sticks should root fast ..I wrapped them in wet paper toweling & then put all of them in a zip lock baggy laying flat so as not to make the goofballs in customs too terribly leary & remove them...woulda made me mad if they denied the trees to you guys...

And yes you can use loofah's and grow them in your garden.
I want a plant too but I can buy them here for a buck at the dollar store so I'm thinking easier and probably cheaper

Im gonna get some loofahs for george! she adores dismantling & tearing apart stuff like that & it would have the same texture as her rope LOL!! she adores hurting my feet with that stuff!!

I haven't seen a bird yet that doesn't LOVE the loofahs.
I attended a workshop last weekend and I was handing them out for everyone to try.
They only back away for about a second and then slowly moved towards it. After just a few minutes it was everyone favorite foot toy.

I didn't know you can grow a loofah even in this country??

my first atempt i sorta used up loads of stuff lol ....... its a 'daisychain luuurve swing' for the banana family.....

Excellent Job Daisy!!!! Georgie girl would go gah gah over that swing!! hours & hours of activity there for sure!! I love it!!

those square blocks have a hole through each side ..... but they are quite small..... if i can find a big needle that can take the string i could put more stuff hanging from some of them....
