| Thanks everyone. Billy is slowly coming to terms with no Robby around. He did good in the move and is eating and playing fine. Mind you I have had to take him out much more this past week. The bird room is perfect. I can keep the temperature in there just right for them and the air cleaner helps to keep the dust down. If I had them in the family room there is no way I could keep them warm enough in the winter. That room is impossible to keep warm without the rest of the house feeling like an oven. Yes LOTS of toys I don't want them getting bored | |

| Is that Pete hiding under the paper in the bottom of the cage in the second picture? Your bird room looks great Carol - it's nearly as big as my whole house! | |

| Right Carol, you've inspired me to have a good old re-arrange of Gracey's cage! At the moment, it looks like this... Any suggestions on other things I can put in there? I always thought it looked pretty fun in there but after seeing your piccys, I want to make it even more fun for her. She likes to spend a lot of time in there, the door is open more or less all the time except when I'm at work but she's always popping in and out and I'd like to be at work thinking about how much fun she'll be having! She doesn't really play as such but she loves toys with ropey bits on as she likes picking them apart and she likes swinging around on the chains the toys are hung up with. Any suggestions gratefully recieved! | |

| The only thing I might add to that George would be to cross a couple of rope perches at the top of the cage on the outside. And if she likes rope toys I would only add them on the outside so you can watch and trim when needed. That way she will start to really enjoy her out time. Of course all mine like stuffed toy, probably because they can preen them so you could try tying one on the side of the cage and see if she likes it. She probably will if she likes her happy hut. Rosy will yell at her's all excited like it's going to answer her | |

| George this picture is of one of my friends bird and cage which is similar to what you have. It's not great in showing what I mean but maybe you can get an idea. I'll see if I can find a better one | |

| Oooohhh, I like thre ropes on the outside idea! I'm not sure why I didn't think of that now! And I'm up to my ears in cuddly toys so I'll try out a few of those too. They'll fill up the empty space at the bottom of the cage nicely! Thanks Carol! | |

| The nice thing about the cuddly toys is that they are washable I like to have fun with the cages. And I change the toys on the top every week so they don't get bored. I pick them up at the dollar store. I don't keep food on top the cages so it's a good holder for stuffed toys | |
