| I was looking for a forum to post these but I couldn't find one....so maybe a toy making forum would be helpful Anyway... here are a couple of cheap alternative toy ideas that you all may or may not be interested in this one is cheap and easy but you will need to drill a hole in the containers and lids. I guess you can also poke a hole in it with something pointy. Great foraging toy. Stick a treat in the container and see if your bird gets the lid off. you can also leave the lid loose to make it easier for the smaller birdies. This one is just plain rice cakes (no salt) strung on hemp rope and knotted below each cake. You can make it as long as you like or as short as you like. | |

| All the toys that are for the site I keep in a separate room from the birds. When I make them I always test them first though. This one is one of the toys I made on the weekend. I also made 2 more that I gave to Rosy to try out. Here's one of them. She loves the plastic chain. She's poke at it and get all fluffy and chatter away at it. | |
