| Pete got a new toy with a very loud squeaker in it today. He had quite the wrestling match going on with it. Pete puts head in bag to grab the loud toy. OR his imatation of the unknown comic. lol OKAY couldn't quite reach and pull out the toy so he now makes a very large hole in the bag about half way up and puts his head in again. He now has the toy but backing up out of the bag is now not possible He is now walking around with the bag on top of his head holding his toy and won't let go to remove himself from the bag. I ended up helping him by ripping the bag open. Got it now Better beat it up so it doesn't go back in the bag and cause anymore trouble. | |

| Pete gets a new bag of goodies every day and he knows as soon as I leave the room to go to get it that I'm coming back in with something fun. When I get back in the bird room he's waiting in the middle of his cage on the floor and he puts his crest up as soon as he sees the bag. | |

| The only one that doesn't really play with toys here is Rosy. She has lots but all she plays with is paper and her happy hut. | |

| LOL!! Rosie is a lil girl lovie & they love to shred shred shred shred! all they think of is nesting & laying eggies LOL!! if she had herself a boy friend you would be upto your ears with lovebird eggs LOL!!! the paper keeps her lil mind busy ...I used to raise lovebirds & I couldnt keep liners in their trays 5 seconds FLAT! and they were shredded better than any paper shredder, its the best toy for a female lovebird everything else is ignored except the males love their toys lol | |

| She's just finished going through what I am guessing to be her hormonal time and the paper was totally shredded as you say in about 5 minutes. Now she's good and she is just shredding a tiny corner every day. She's again enjoying her head scratches from her friend the glove | |

| My finches sometimes get a bit of bacon rind (very occasionally!) and I always take it down to them on a square of kitchen paper towel stuff. The last lot I took down, Tess tipped all the bacon off the paper and tried to drag it into her nest in the poo tree! | |

| It was funny! It ended up getting wrapped around a perch though so she had one corner in the nest and the rest was flapping around over her head! | |
