| Berty loves to shred a box. She also has a permenent cardboard tube in the bottom her cage (It's is change VERY often, doesn't last long) and takes her small toys in with her. She's so funny, spends ages chatting to the toy and sorting/shredding the tube JUST how she wants  ........I wish I could post a vid 'cos I know you would all love it.........But heres some pics of Berty's box oooh a new box  Yep! I could sleep in here  Just needs a bit of adjustment  Super sonic speed........  One final adjustment should do it  | |

| I'm just curious. Does she ever get nasty over them? Nesty type of thing? I can see where my Lucy might get that way at this moment in time. lol |

| Debra, Berty is VERY protective of her tube in the cage, and nesty!!!
The first year we got her she laid two eggs in there.......freaked me out before she layed, cos she was SO different..............never seen it before, I thought she was dying!!
Rang Vet he said keep het sat's up........next day two whooping big eggs!
She is still nesty with her tube but no more eggs, she laid an egg with the previous owners and they never saw another one after that.
Having said all this, Berty is a Burrowing Parrot so, tube....nest...eggs lol | |

| We have some plastic tubes at work, they just get thrown away, I'm going to nab one tomorrow and see if it will be any good for Berty if she goes through lots of cardboard ones  | |

| Oh, Berty would freak!!! in a 'Plastic tube' No shredding and no Berty home! She likes to shred and sort out her tube.....can't do that in plastic!!! No worries Debbie.............got cardboard tubes stacked up in the garage  | |
